Wintershall plans for strong participation at ADIPEC
- The participation reflects Wintershall’s commitment to the region
- CEO Mario Mehren taking part in one of ADIPEC’s Global Industry Leaders sessions
Kassel/Abu Dhabi. Wintershall Holding GmbH, Germany's largest internationally active crude oil and natural gas producer, announced today its participation in this year’s edition of Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition Conference (ADIPEC), which will be held on November 12 – 15, at ADNEC. Located in Hall 6, Wintershall’s stand will feature the company’s latest cutting-edge technologies and the most innovative and effective methods it applies throughout its activities worldwide and in the Middle East region.
“We are happy to present our skills again at one of the most influential events in the Middle East region”, said Mario Mehren, CEO of Wintershall. “Our participation in this year’s edition of ADIPEC comes as part of our commitment to the Middle East region, which boasts nearly half of world’s oil and gas reserves. We will continue invest in deploying our international expertise and latest technology in this key market.” Considered one of the top international oil and gas exhibitions, the four-day event is set to host over 2,200 exhibiting companies, and welcome more than 110,000 visitors from across the globe. Industry leaders from across the globe will be taking part in the various panels, presentations and key notes in during ADIPEC.
Wintershall’s Chief Executive will also take part in one of ADIPEC’s Global Industry Leaders sessions. Titled: “Harnessing the power of digitalization in upstream operations: implementing and deploying innovative disruptive technologies”, the session is scheduled for day 2 of the exhibition. Wintershall is a subsidiary of BASF, one of the world’s largest chemical producers, and was the first German oil and gas exploration and production company to open a representative office in Abu Dhabi in 2010.
