Under The Theme "Instilling Innovation Culture." The 3rd Cycle Of UAE Innovation Award Is Accepting Submissions From Local Government Entities, NGOs, And Private Sector Companies In The UAE

Dubai Quality Group, in association with Team Power International, is pleased to announce the 3rd cycle of UAE Innovation Award under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group.
Launched in the year 2016, the award which strongly supports the UAE National Innovation Strategy is one of the latest initiatives under Dubai Quality Group: a non-profit organization set up by Dubai Economy in 1994 to promote Excellence and Innovation in the region.
The award has now widened participation to include applications from revenue-generating Local Government Entities, in addition to private sector companies and NGOs.
The award serves as a platform for organizations to develop and assess their overall innovation maturity under an extensive innovation model. All applications will evaluate against three main award criteria: Innovation Capabilities, Innovation Drivers, and Innovation Results by a group of qualified assessors, under the governance of the award judging committee.
Top performing organizations will be announced and appreciated at an awarding ceremony on February 2020, coinciding with the UAE Innovation Month.
The award provides a comprehensive feedback report, highlighting key strengths and challenges which in turn will assist the participating organizations to design a road map for their innovation journey.
Submissions to the award will close on 14 November 2019, and organizations interested in applying this year are invited to attend a complimentary awareness session on 17 October 2019 for the award's Framework, Criteria, and Guidelines.
Following its inception, the award has played a significant role in restructuring the innovation strategies of organizations in the UAE. In addition to the overwhelming interest received from new applicants, several organizations have re-applied in the award, to gauge their innovation growth over the initial cycle.
