UAE Participates In Adriatic Sea Defence And Space Exhibition 2019 In Croatia
A delegation from the Ministry of Defence, led by Major General Pilot Isaac Saleh Mohammed Al Baloushi, Head of the Executive Administration for Industries and Defence Capacities Development at the Ministry of Defence, participated in the 5th Adriatic Sea Defence and Space Exhibition 2019 in Split, Croatia.
The delegation witnessed the launch of the exhibition, which was inaugurated by Damir Christievich, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence.
The exhibition, which was launched on Wednesday for two days, involves the participation of many countries through their pavilions and displays, as well as the platforms of Croatian and international defence companies. The delegation explored the latest products of these companies.
Major General Al Baloushi separately met with Christievich and Zrako Jacob, Minister of State for Defence, to discuss the cooperation between the UAE and Croatia and ways of developing them, as well as other topics of mutual concern.
The delegation also participated in an official ceremony held on the sidelines of the exhibition, under the patronage of Christievich.
Al Baloushi then met with Delphin Lorenzana, Defence Minister of the Philippines, to discuss the mutual cooperation between their countries while the UAE delegation met with other delegations from friendly countries.
