Turespaña, is the Spanish public body responsible for promoting Spain as a tourism destination, also affiliated to the Embassy of Spain in the United Arab Emirates. The Spanish Business Council is a private non-profit organization acting as a corporate platform to strengthen business and cultural ties between Spain and the United Arab Emirates. For the past 15 years, their team has been introducing Spanish companies to the UAE market, both in the public and private sectors.
This March, both organizations will launch a thrilling new gastronomic initiative, as a tribute to Spanish cuisine. The first “Spanish Wednesday” will be hosted March 10 and the operation will unfold over a period of 6 weeks, taking guests on a culinary tour of the SBC’s 6 member restaurants.
• Wednesday March 10th: Lola Taberna
• Wednesday March 17th: 99 Sushi Bar
• Wednesday March 24th: Seville’s
• Wednesday March 31st: Deseo

The aim is to let Dubai residents discover the true Spanish culture and to ignite patrons’ appetite for its rich and flavourful cuisine. And perhaps will the experience entice guests to travel to the sunny peninsula some day!
During “Spanish Wednesdays”, exciting raffles will give the chance to win Taste of Spain food hampers, Centaurus grape bottles, a 2-night stay at the Hotel Me by Melia and much more.
