Property Finder Transforms How People Search For Communities In The UAE
Our Community Guides will be a one-stop-shop for all things community related
Property Finder, the leading property portal in the MENA region, has released a revamped Community Guide for the UAE that aims to be a go-to encyclopaedia for all neighbourhoods in the country. It is guaranteed to give community insight at a level never seen before.
Until recently, knowing which community to live in was a bit of a minefield, with information on new and existing neighbourhoods scarce.
From just a handful of residential communities in the 1990s, Dubai has expanded and houses over 150 neighbourhoods today. The rapid property development in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates ahead of Expo 2020 has also added to the existing supply, compounding the confusion of buyers and tenants.
But all that is about to change with Property Finder’s Community Guides set to unlock the potential of many of the UAE’s established and up-and-coming communities.
“In a market where community, project and property information is sparse and dislocated, we’re incredibly proud to be able to provide accurate and detailed market and demographic information to our users to help them make informed property decisions. We’re also proud to be painting a picture of the UAE’s growth and expansion ahead of 2020,” said Hamza Chaoui, Chief Brand Officer, Property Finder.
A comprehensive guide to the most popular communities in the UAE, it will highlight average house prices and rents in each neighbourhood, average yields, the best eateries, places to shop, fun activities and more. Plus, there will be useful maps for each community detailing all amenities in proximity like schools, restaurants, grocery stores, etc.
"Leveraging community data from multiple sources, including the Dubai Land Department, Geographic Information System, Knowledge and Human Development Authority and master developers, as well as our own editorial insight, listing data and building reviews, Property Finder Community Guides will help consumers answer the key questions they ask before choosing where to live," said Yi-Wei Ang, VP of Product at Property Finder.
Property Finder has also teamed up with long-term UAE residents who will give a behind-the-scenes glimpse of each community.
As part of launching this new section on the Property Finder website, the campaign includes a customised video of Dubai with footage from the 1970s to show how the city has evolved from a quiet fishing village to a cosmopolitan city over the years.
