Over 25 Renowned Educators Set To Participate At The Upcoming EdTechCon Middle East

V3 Events today announced the first round of speaker line up for EdTechCon Middle East, taking place virtually on February 8 and 9, 2021.
With the outbreak of the COVID 19 pandemic, the Middle East’s edtech sector has witnessed burgeoning growth. Traditional learning methods have given way to innovative learning frameworks and digital learning solutions.
Focusing on the convergence of technology in education, the two-day event will witness over 25 senior educators and experts from the Middle East region and other parts of the world come together to discuss the opportunities, challenges, and growth of the edtech industry.
Across two days, the conference agenda will cover more than 15 sessions focusing on online education, edtech trends, its growth and challenges to be tackled and the future of online learning.
Dr. Zahra AL Rawahi, Director of Innovation Capacity Building at The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Oman will deliver a presentation on the future of education after COVID-19, while Kai Vacher, Principal, British School Muscat will share with the attendees a case study on blended learning.
Professor Melodena Stephens, Professor of Innovation Management, Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government will also deliver a presentation at the event.
Emphasizing the influence of technology in education, Philippa Wraithmell, Head of Digital Learning, Cranleigh Abu Dhabi and Kevin Fullbrook, Deputy Director, Al-Bayan Bilingual School, Kuwait, along with others will discuss at length on how technology has transformed the culture of learning and the future roadmap.
Professor Yusra Mouzughi, Vice-Chancellor, Muscat University and Jason Fitzsimmons, Academic President, Manipal Academy of Higher Education will participate in a panel discussion on the future of hybrid education and its opportunities and challenges.
Siobhan Dickerson, Director of Specialism, Careers and Higher Education Advisor, GEMS First Point School - The Villa, Linda Parsons, Educational Technology Lead, Deira International School and Raj Kapoor, Director of Student Recruitment, American University in Dubai will participate in a panel discussion on the importance of technology in a student’s career and the role edtech plays in preparing the workforce of the future.
