New Turkish fire fighting boats by UZMAR are introduced at Milipol Qatar 2021
New Turkish Fire Fighting Boats were unveiled for the first time Monday at the Milipol Qatar 2021 Exhibition now underway in Doha, Qatar.
UZMAR, a leading Turkish Shipyard, developed the new 24-meter long Aluminum High-Speed Fire Fighting Boat design in response to the recent requirements for enhancing the fire fighting capabilities of the Qatari Coast Guard. In cooperation with the most experienced fireboat designer Robert Allan, Canada, Ranger J-2400 Fireboat is specially designed for Gulf Area to provide fast emergency response, search and rescue, fire-fighting, and diving operations.
In line with Vision 2030, UZMAR is investing in local presence and has already made an agreement with local Qatari expertise company Strategic Technical Services (STS) in order to provide through-life support services.
Having delivered more than 150 state-of-the-art ships and boats to 22 countries on 6 different continents, UZMAR is the partner of choice in the sophisticated shipbuilding domain. The company’s strong presence and experience in the world maritime industry are now being preferred by governmental projects. UZMAR will be delivering two 32 meters LOA Emergency Response Tugboats to Turkish Coastal Safety and a 60 meter LOA Multi-Purpose Oil Spill Recovery Emergency Response Ship with fire fighting Capability to Kuwait Oil Company. By doubling the capacity of its production facilities during the pandemic last year, UZMAR is expanding its product range by adding more customized vessels, which will meet the requirements of the governmental projects.
