KPMG Announces Appointment Of Five Partners In Its Dubai Office
KPMG Lower Gulf has announced five high-profile appointments, strengthening its senior leadership team in the Middle East.

Fahad Kazim
Fahad is a Partner in the Corporate Finance segment of Deal Advisory. He has served in leadership roles with several leading real estate developers in Dubai, including as Vice President of Meydan Malls and Chief Commercial Officer for Meraas Holding, where he was responsible for the business development and asset management of its real estate portfolio. While at Meraas, Fahad was seconded to Bright Start LLC as Chief Investment Officer to help formalize their investment strategy.
Fahad has Big Four consultancy experience in the US, in the firm’s Audit and Transaction Services teams, across real estate, hospitality and retail industries. He has also served on prominent boards including those of Emirates REIT, Dubai Parks & Resorts and Emirates Transport.
Fahad holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Concordia University in Canada and is a Certified Public Accountant from the US.
Hiren Amin
Hiren will be leading the firm’s Data & Analytics practice. A specialist in designing analytics strategies and implementation roadmaps, Hiren has led large-scale, complex projects for a wide variety of clients in both the private and public sectors, across financial services, insurance, media, telecommunications, manufacturing and energy.
Hiren has previously worked in leadership roles at Big Four firms. He has led digital enablement and advised clients on the value of advanced-predictive analytics and machine learning on big data sets. He embedded new ways of working within his previous organizations, leveraging managed services for robotics process automation, IoT and chatbots. Hiren also co-founded a data and analytics consulting firm, advising clients on areas of performance improvement and business intelligence.
Hiren started his career in trading and quantitative analysis with ScotiaMacotta and Barclaycard.
Fady Kassatly
Fady Kassatly leads the Enterprise Systems and Cloud Solutions offering within the Advisory practice at KPMG Lower Gulf. Fady specializes in driving digital transformation programs and has advised clients across diverse sectors: civil, government, telecom, and NGOs across MENA/GCC, the Americas, and Europe. He has supported C-suite executives with large-scale transformation programs spanning shared services design and implementation, enterprise systems implementation, customer strategy, engagement and CRM system implementation, organization design and restructuring. Other areas of focus include mobile government, smart government, service modernization, digital literacy, innovation strategy, and PMO institutionalization.
Prior to joining KPMG, Fady worked with other strategy consulting and Big Fours firms, leading Digital & Innovation practices, with a focus on public sector and telecommunications. Fady started his career as a software engineer with STS Systems in Canada. He holds a Master’s degree in Management from HEC in Montreal and a Bachelor’s Degree in MIS & Finance from McGill University, also in Montreal.
Andrew Monro
As a new Senior Client Partner, leading Middle East Energy and Resources, Andrew caters to some of KPMG’s largest clients in the Middle East.
Andrew brings valuable knowledge and expertise to the firm. He has been serving multinational clients across six continents, and has worked as an advisor in the boardroom of many multinational clients within the oil & gas, chemicals, life sciences, industrial, retail, and consumer sectors. He brings more than 20 years of professional service and business experience across the entire value chain of business strategy, performance, risk, culture and operations.Andrew spent 14 years at KPMG in the UK, and as such he brings a solid understanding of KPMG’s core values and business across service lines.
Gonçalo Traquina
GonçaloTraquina has been appointed Partner in Advisory. He will be part of KPMG’s Design & Innovation team. His core focus is in the financial services sector. Gonçalo is based in Dubai and specializes in retail banking, insurance, payments and remittances. His areas of expertise include business strategy, digital transformation, customer experience, operational transformation, financial management and IT transformation.
Prior to joining the Dubai office, Gonçaloworked with KPMG Portugal and another Big Four consultancy. He has worked in multicultural markets across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
Gonçaloholds an MBA from INDEG/ISCTE Business School in Lisbon, Portugal; holds a Post Graduate degree in Financial Institutions Management from Universidade Catolica Portuguesa and a degree in Economics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
