Dr. Mussaad M. Al-Razouki, Chief Business Development Officer, Kuwait Life Sciences Company, will be speaking on the topic of "Building the Hybrid Hospital of the Future" from 11:30am - 12:00pm on Wednesday the 4th of March.
As global spending on healthcare soars past the seven trillion-dollar mark, new types of medical technologies are required, specifically to increase the overall quality of medical services and to combat rampant medical inflation.
MENA governments are spending billions of dinars, riyals and dirhams on upgrading their traditional healthcare infrastructure. Newspapers are filled with stories on newer, bigger and flashier hospital projects. These cathedrals of care are an important part of the healthcare system, but as the world moves away from antiquated models of care, MENA governments need to also be aware of the latest advancements in medical technologies with a focus on building the Hybrid Hospitals of the future.
KLSC recently provided the keynote at the Arab Health 2020 Investment Forum, in January. This forum is the arena to stimulate more investment, more change and learning in the healthcare system in the GCC and the MENA region. Dr. Mussaad Al-Razouki will be provided a keynote speech on "GCC Healthcare Investment Opportunities" on the first day of the conference as well as moderating a panel discussion on "Healthcare Investment Strategy"
Dr. Razouki was also an expert judge on the "Innovation Panel" at the Innov8 Startup Pitch Competition.
