HEC Paris in Qatar & French Embassy to co-organize Panel Discussion to Explore Women's Contribution to State's Vision
An Event to Address Female Participation & Leadership in Society
HEC Paris, ranked #1 in the Financial Times European Business Schools Rankings 2020, and the French Embassy in Qatar will be co-organizing an online panel discussion that will address the contribution of women to the Qatar National Vision 2030 (QNV 2030). The online event, themed ‘Women & Qatar National Vision 2030: Contributions, Perspectives and Leadership’ is taking place on Tuesday, March 30th from 5pm until 7pm, and will be broadcasted globally.
The online panel discussion will be opened by Dr. Pablo Martin de Holan, Dean of HEC Paris in Qatar, along with His Excellency Mr. Franck Gellet, French Ambassador in Qatar. The general public is welcome to join the online discussion, with the aim of promoting the contribution and leadership of women in all aspects of society.
Three locally-based panelists, from diverse horizons, will give their vision about the participation of women to the elaboration and implementation of the QNV 2030, shaping Qatar’s future. Moderated by the Founding Dean of College of Humanities and Social Sciences at HBKU, Dr. Amal Al Malki, the panel discussion will be conducted in English. Panelists include Sheikha Alanoud Hamad Al-Thani, Managing Director of Business Development at Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority; Munera Al-Dosari, Chief Strategy Officer at Ooredoo; and Majda Sousi, Regional Communications Manager at ENGIE in the Middle East and Africa region, and Head of the Women in Networking (WIN) Group.
This event further demonstrates the commitment of both HEC Paris in Qatar and the Embassy of France in Qatar to assisting national development in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030 to create a knowledge-based economy. The panel brings together a group of talented professionals, from varied backgrounds, providing keen insights from their experience and further advancing this crucial conversation at a turning point in our history.
