Emirates Maritime Arbitration Centre Attends Nor-Shipping 2019 In Oslo For The Second Time

The Emirates Maritime Arbitration Centre (EMAC) returns with the Dubai Maritime Cluster to the most sought-after shipping event on the globe, Nor-Shipping between 4 - 7 June, 2019 in Oslo, Norway.
“Representing the UAE under the Dubai Maritime Cluster is a clear message to the industry that the country is jointly working towards establishing the UAE as one of the leading maritime hubs in the world. This is our second time that we participate in this forum, and we feel that it is the perfect global arena for us to connect and engage with our existing and future stakeholders,” said Mr. Majid Obaid bin Bashir, Acting Chairman and Secretary General, EMAC.
“Nor-Shipping is not just another maritime event, it’s a platform to bring together the best-in-class shipping and maritime companies under one roof,” he added.
Seminars and roundtable topics will touch upon a digitalised future in the maritime sector, hot topics like gender mainstreaming and seafaring, in line with the World Maritime Day’s (WMD) theme for 2019 and last but not least, tackling a greener future by optimising fuel consumption.
Nor-Shipping has been held in Norway every other year since 1965. It is one of the leading international shipping events and an important meeting place and forum for the shipping industry.
