DHL Express collaborates with MyFatoorah to simplify cross-border checkouts for MENA social sellers
Collaboration will accelerate ecommerce and support local SMEs
DHL Express recently announced a strategic collaboration with MyFatoorah which provides online social sellers a convenient cross border solution, enabling users to sell their products more effectively to customers on social media platforms. This first-of-its-kind partnership in the region will provide customers with a seamless payment processing experience, airway bill and commercial invoice automation, all of which will enable cross-border shipping check-outs for social sellers.
The Customer to Customer (C2C) business in the Middle East and North Africa region is rapidly growing, especially among Instagram and social sellers. This new partnership will take social sellers from the local market, to global market presence. MyFatoorah will enable social customers to pay online, whilst providing their shipping information, all at a click of a button.
Ali Thabet, Regional Director, ecommerce MENA DHL said: “C2C ecommerce is growing at an exponential rate in the Middle East and seamless shipping has become an integral part of the experience. The main challenge for many C2C businesses remains at the checkout process for customers, as many still order through direct messaging and pay through bank transfers. Our partnership with MyFatoorah will eliminate this tedious process and sellers will be able to truly go global and sell their products to a wider audience.”
Abdullah al Dabbous, Founder of MyFatoorah, said: “We are delighted to partner with DHL Express to encourage SMEs in the region to expand their reach and network and help build a stable platform for entrepreneurs across various business segments. MyFatoorah offers a hassle-free online payment service that will enhance business and take it to the next level. We are confident that this partnership will transform the business for a number of small and medium size operators in the region.”
