On this occasion, Dr.Salem Al-Naemi said: “We are proud to sign this MoU with NSA and we thank them for their trust in CNA-Q. As an institution of excellence in technical and vocational education and training in Qatar, we will put our expertise, and specifically, the School of Health Sciences knowledge and its internationally accredited programs in the service of the Academy. This will be a first step towards tailoring, one of a kind applied programs for the cadets in order to develop their physical and mental ability, so they can become active members in the society and play a leading role in the State’s development. Furthermore, CNA-Q’s counsellors will visit the Academy to introduce cadets to the different programs that the College offers and guide them to choose the right course of study. On this occasion, we would like to thank the Ministry of Education and Higher Education for their continuous support to the College programs and partnerships that lead to further development in the educational and sustainability fields. This new partnership will further strengthen our ties with governmental entities and give CNA-Q the chance to better serve its country, through education, training and research.”

This joint collaboration will provide further development in the fields of training, academic teaching, physical ability and fitness. It will be a platform for experience sharing and joint initiatives. The Academy is keen on providing its cadets with a leading physical development program that is developed by health academics. This program will contribute to the enhancement of the community’s public health, and will have a great impact on the combat readiness of the armed forces in general, and the national service units in particular. This MoU complements a series of agreements concluded by the National Service Academy in order to strengthen national security and community development. We thank all national institutions and academies for their support; these partnerships reflect the commitment and integration between different stakeholders in the State.”

After the ceremony, dignitaries were invited to tour the NSA facilities and get to know the environment in which cadets are being trained. This agreement supports the Qatar National Vision 2030, especially the human development and educated population pillars that mention the importance of providing citizens with excellent training and opportunities to develop to their full potential (physically and mentally), preparing them for success in a changing world with increasingly complex technical requirements.
