Canon Middle East (CME), a provider of imaging technologies and services has reaffirmed its commitment to its Middle Eastern operations and confirmed four new partners spanning the UAE, Iraq, Jordan and Kuwait, in the wake of easing COVID-19 restrictions. The new partnerships are in line with CME’s plans to continue to invest and strengthen operations across the Middle East region.
CME is dedicated to forging ahead and rolling out its growth strategy to address both geographical gaps and emerging trends, to be closer to customers in the region and address their emerging needs while staying agile and flexible. These newly signed partnerships signify the 6thpartner in UAE, the eighth in Iraq, third in Jordan and fifth in Kuwait and a total of six new partnerships since the beginning of 2020.
Since the onset of Covid-19, CME has been dedicated to business continuity and established new operating systems that enable both remote access and a flexible hybrid way of working. With lockdown restrictions now being eased, in parallel efforts, CME has also revived up focus on partner development and specialized tie-ups.A critical component that enabled CME to ensue uninterrupted service during the pandemic was CME’s foresight of investing ine-commerce platform. Launched in 2018, the e-commerce platform enabled CME to compensate for the economic lockdown, by activating next day delivery options to meet the growing needs of customers to WFH and establish a home office set-up.
The UAE in particular, has always played an integral role in Canon Middle East’s operations and it is with great pride that CME reiterates its commitment to EXPO 2020 – a global event that will play a critical role in shaping our post-pandemic world. For the first time in World Expo history, a single firm has been chosen to provide all the event’s imaging and printing needs and CME is ready to help reimagine the future.Recent progress on the partnership includes a refinement of the visitor engagement experience to ensure that Canon is helping people push the boundaries of what is possible through imaging, while adapting to the challenges of operating in a post COVID-19 era.
“As we enter the COVID-19 recovery stage, it is our responsibly to rebuild ties and come together as an industry, to reinvigorate the economy. Our determination to ensure business continuity during the pandemic, coupled with a commitment to reimagining our business, has allowed us to adapt to new ways of working, to best serve our customers. We are confident that with the new strategic partnerships and the expertise to cater to emerging trends like WFH, we are well equipped to not only meet, but also exceed customer expectations,” said Anurag Agrawal, Managing Director, Canon Middle East and Turkey.
