Axalta Launched Free E-Learning Intiatives In MENA

New online programmes being offered to engage and instruct customers in the MENA region

Axalta (NYSE: AXTA), a leading global supplier of liquid and powder coatings,announced today that its offering body shop customers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regionnew e-learning programmes to help keep their technicians engaged during the coronavirus pandemic.  The online classes are free to Axalta customers through June 2020 and will feature application techniques using the Company’s premium Standox, Cromax, and Spies Hecker brands.

“With the circumstances around the COVID-19 outbreak having a significant impact on businesses around the world, Axalta is looking for optimal ways to keep our customers and their technicians engaged and ready to resume work,”said Fadi Medlej, Managing Director, Axalta Middle East& North Africa.  “Upskilling our clients has been one of Axalta’s long-standing commitments and through these classes participants gain access to expert trainers, new techniques, and interaction with their peers. It’s important that we stay together during this time, help each other, and provide as much engagement as possible. Initial customer response has been strong, and we’re excited to offer more classes for more customers.”

During the month of April, 180 people registered on the e-learning platform, approximately 50 e-certifications have been issued.
