Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority services can now be accessed via 'TAMM' platform

The Authority has reduced application processing time by 50%

In line with its efforts to ensure a decent life and social stability for low-income Emirati families throughout Abu Dhabi Emirate, the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority, SSA, has updated its social support application process by adopting new changes to facilitate the process of offering social support services to all qualifying citizens in the emirate.

This announcement was made during GITEX Technology Week 2020, taking place until December 10th at the Dubai World Trade Centre, where SSA is participating at the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion.

As a result of these changes, the SSA has fully incorporated Abu Dhabi Social Support Programme applications within the ‘TAMM’ platform in the coming weeks to allow citizens in Abu Dhabi to apply for their social support benefits easily and comfortably.

Additionally, the SSA has adopted a system to automate the application process,  which will greatly contribute to minimising the number of steps needed to complete applications, with no need for attached documents, except in special cases. The system will allow automatic, instant, accurate eligibility checks for initial approval and resulted in a reduction in the time needed to process applications by 50%.

H.E. Abdulla Al Ameri, Acting Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority, said: “The SSA is seeking to participate actively in the transition towards the digital future of Abu Dhabi by taking advantage of modern technologies and adopting the latest systems. This comes in line with the wise leadership’s directives to accelerate the digital transformation of government services in Abu Dhabi, which in turn will benefit beneficaires and improve the quality of life of Emirati families in the emirate.”

Al Ameri added: “The SSA continues its efforts to support the integration of services between government entities and is committed to maintaining constructive cooperation with them. The Authority has comeplted direct electronic link with 21 government entities and is delighted to be part of the Abu Dhabi Government Services ecosystem, TAMM, and provide its services through this unified platform.”

Since ‘SmartPass’ is retiring soon, all government entities will migrate to the new platform, ‘UAEPass’, which enables users to identify themselves to government service providers across the emirates through smartphone-based authentication. It also enables users to sign documents digitally with a high level of security.

In order access its services with ease, the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority encourages all beneficiaries to migrate to ‘UAEPass’.
