9th FAHR International Conference Begins Tomorrow

A specialized workshop 'Change Management: Leading Successful Transformations' concluded today prior to the 2-day HR event

The 9th edition of FAHR International Conference, held by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, begins tomorrow (Wednesday), in cooperation with INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions – a member of INDEX Holding, at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai. Running under the theme ‘Fourth Industrial Revolution Human Capital Challenges’, the 2-day leading HR gathering will be attended by over 600 professionals and executives from across 25 countries across the globe.
 
FAHR International Conference is a unique annual gathering, bringing together top HR experts from the public and private sector as well as top HR experts, speakers and participants representing top companies and businesses in the region and abroad. The conference agenda for this edition, will discuss the most pressing issues and feature specialized discussions addressed by top level experts highlighting the best solutions and strategies related to many important topics such as future of jobs, digital transformation and its impact on people and future of work and organizations of the future among others.

Specialized workshop:

Meanwhile a pre-conference workshop was conducted today by Stewart McNair, Senior Trainer, Society for Human Resource Management, SHRM, under the title ‘Change Management: Leading Successful Transformations’ focused on how managing change is becoming a major focal point for HR professionals, as organizations continue to adapt to an ever-changing workplace. The workshop was aimed at providing the knowledge and necessary skills as well as appropriate models to change initiatives while also offering a few guidelines and techniques for designing, facilitating and sustaining change.

The 9th FAHR International Conference will be attended by over 20 speakers and experts from around the world, who will offer their insights on the latest developments taking place in the human resources sector as well as the most important challenges facing HR professionals in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
