WitWork, A Network Of Co-Working Spaces, Is On A Mission To Make Everyday Inspiring For Digital Workers, Everywhere
The UAE’s co-working culture is rapidly shifting with the influx of new startups, digital nomads, and freelancers. Striving to “leave the office behind”, WitWork is a network of co-working pop ups and meeting rooms in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah.
Spanning from savvy business centres in Abu Dhabi to sophisticated cafes in Dubai, members can choose from several locations across the UAE. Not just limited to coffee shops, WitWork’s co-working spaces include restaurants, meeting room spaces, forgotten hotel lounges, and even pubs.
WitWork’s top co-working spaces include Revo Café, Maison Mathis in Arabian Ranches, Cargo in Dubai Marina’s Pier 7, Le Petit Belge in JLT, various Rotana F&B outlets and lounges, and several more.
“With the recent surge of remote employees and startup companies, we noticed traditional co-working spaces became too crowded and expensive. So we went looking for overlooked areas in hotels, restaurants, and coffee shops and revived them with our concept,” says co founder Cynthia Helena Rif.
She continues, “That’s how our movement was born, with WitWork spreading across the UAE and soon in the GCC. We leave no space left behind – using existing venues and their facilities to keep our business lean, green, and sustainable”
What’s in it for WitWork’s members?
Its diverse spaces are equipped with all the essentials a digital worker needs – comfortable seats, power sources, parking, high-speed wifi, and strong coffee.
Offering access to underutilised spaces in popular districts and hotels, WitWork offers a range of creative spaces to suit all needs.
What’s in it for the outlets?
WitWork is a win-win situation for everyone involved. WitWork targets local F&B outlets that could benefit from more footfall. By collaborating with WitWork, these outlets enjoy marketing opportunities, a steady stream of untapped groups of customers all day (instead of just at peak hours), cut on running costs, and generate extra revenue.
While serviced workspaces emerged in the 60s, they are gradually gaining traction in the GCC. According to a report by Deloitte Real Estate – there’s an expected worldwide reach of 30,000 co-working spaces around the world by 2022. WitWork is one of a handful of emerging co-working spaces that’s part of a pioneering movement towards office-free working.
First-timers can give it a try with an AED 50 WitWalk day pass. Other options include WitWeek at AED 175, WitWorm at AED 400 per month, and WitWork at AED 1000 per quarter. In addition to free coffee, high-speed wifi, 24/7 parking – Witperks also include a discount on meeting room bookings, F&B discounts, insider discounts, and various community and networking events.
