Wendy’s Middle East Wins Two Awards At Wendy’s APEMEA Summit In Japan
Wendy’s Middle East, operated by Alghanim industries, was announced as the winner of two prestigious awards at Wendy’s Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa (APEMEA) Summit that was held in Japan on October 24th, 2018.
Wendy’s Middle East received two trophies: one of the “Best Franchise Operations” category, distinguishing its operational excellence, in addition to the the Jim Near Legacy Award,” for talent and organizational excellence. The Jim Near Award is named after the the late chairman of the international corporation, who stepped in to enhance the operations in the company’s international organization.
Wendy’s Middle East was selected from a large group of international franchisees, proving the company’s success under the international Alghanim Industries leadership. To win this award, the franchise must show continuous dedication to the use of Wendy’s operational systems and a commitment to re-investment.
Wendy’s Middle East was previously recognized with three prestigious awards at the annual Global Wendy’s Convention that was held in Las Vegas, Nevada last year. It collected two coveted International Golden Grill Awards for the best freestanding opening for the restaurant in Kuwait (Blajat Street, Salmiya) and the best Overall Customer Satisfaction score. In addition, the team also won The Wendy Award for the best international franchise operations.
