United Arab Bank Donates Dh100,000 To The Khorfakkan Club For Handicapped And The Specialist Center For Children With Disabilities
The United Arab Bank has donated Dh100,000 to the Khorfakkan Club for Handicapped and the Specialist Center for Children with Disabilities. The donation comes as part of the bank’s initiatives to support humanitarian and cultural activities during the Year of Zayed.A Dh50,000 donation was made by the bank to the Khorfakkan Club for Handicappedto support its efforts in helping people with disabilities.
The bank also donated a Dh50,000checkto the Specialist Center for Children with Disabilities, with the aim of assistingthe center’s efforts to support children with special needs.Sheikh Mohammed Abdulla Al Nuaimi, Acting CEO of United Arab Bank, stated that the bank’s initiative to donate to both the Khorfakkan Club for Handicapped and the Specialist Center for Children with Disabilities, comes within the framework of its strategy to support humanitarian initiatives as part of its social responsibility towards the community.
He remarked that the bank is determined to support clubs and centers that aim to help people with disabilities develop their personal abilities, increase their participation in social and sport programs,provide them with proper healthcare and education, and raise awareness on the issues that they encounter.Al Nuaimi stressed that the bank is keen to enhance its social and humanitarian initiatives, in addition to developing the quality of the products and services that it offers to its clients. He added that the bank has launched a number ofcommunity initiatives during the Year of Zayed and plans to launch even more initiatives in the future.
