The Outlet Village Celebrates Year Of Zayed With Colourful Art Activations

The Outlet Village, Dubai’s indoor shopping and leisure destination by Meraas, exhibited 100 of the best artworks of the Zayed Painting Contest.The competition had challenged students aged nine to 12 years from 100 schools across the UAE to create art inspired by the life, guiding values and vision of the founding father of the UAE, late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Maintaining the focus on arts and creativity, from 25 to 30 March, The Outlet Village transformed into a vibrant art gallery and invited visitors to show off their artistic skills through contributing to the Wall of Zayed face mosaic. Young artists demonstrated their creativity on 5×5 cm tiles that were arranged in a colourful mosaic on the wall to ultimately reveal the face of Sheikh Zayed.
