As part of the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola, and in partnership with Dubai Sports Council, the official sports governing body of the Government of Dubai, the coveted World Cup trophy will land in Dubai on February 21, 2018. The most renowned and iconic trophy in the world of sport will be touring Dubai and making pit stops at the emirate’s most globally recognized landmarks including the Dubai Frame.
His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Hareb, Secretary General Dubai Sports Council, expressed his delight in bringing the World Cup Trophy to Dubai, highlighting the emirate’s global position as a prestigious touristic and economic location, as well as its multicultural demographic, hosting more than 200 different nationalities living in harmony – all proud to be a part of sporting events taking place at the vibrant city.
