Teams Compete For Honours In The Annual Ready, Steady, Light Competition At Light Middle East 2019

The annual Ready, Steady, Light competition, which saw teams compete to build contemporary outdoor lighting designs under restricted conditions, took place yesterday (15 October) during the 14th edition of Light Middle East.

The competition, held in partnership with The Society of Lighting, UK, Light Func and Women in Lighting hosted eight teams who assembled their design builds with only 90 minutes on clock and a limited range of equipment.

The winners of the Ready, Steady, Light competition will be announced during the 2019 Light Middle East Awards which will take place on the evening of the show’s closing day (17 October) at Atlantis, The Palm.

Light Middle East 2019 hosted 311 exhibitors from 32 countries, the six dedicated segments cover LED lighting (42 percent of exhibitors), decorative lighting and accessories, home and building automation, electrical and electronic components and accessories for lighting systems; electric lamps; and technical lighting and accessories.
