Symphony Of The Seas Readies For Sun-Drenched Mediterranean Cruises On Inaugural Season
Symphony of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship will set sail on its first cruise in April 2018. The floating city begins her inaugural sailing season from Barcelona with seven-night itineraries to discover the history and delights of the Mediterranean and its port cities, until the end of October. In early November, Symphony of the Seas will sail for Miami to begin Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.
From the European center for art, architecture, and design, Barcelona with its Gothic Quarter; and on to the Palma de Mallorca in Spain with its fine beaches lively cafes and art scene. The cruise then takes in Provence (Marseilles) in France visiting one of the oldest cities with its dynamic melting pot of culture and vibrant arts scene. Italy’s Florence/Pisa (La Spezia), is the next port of call where you could take in two enchanting regions, La Spezia offers easy access to Tuscany and its great cities like Florence and Pisa and the Liguria’s rugged coast and terraced villages known as Cinque Terre.
