HE Julfar said: “We have made great strides and are currently working on many initiatives founded on best international practices with a view to empowering People of Determination in the UAE and providing them with decent living standards, while also availing them the opportunity to achieve their aspirations.”
This statement came during CDA announcement of its intended participation in the 3rd edition of AccessAbilities Expo 2019 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports and Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline & Group, from November 5 to 7 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC).
AccessAbilities Expo 2019 is being organised by Reed Exhibitions Middle East and Nadd Al Shiba PR and Event Management on a total exhibition space of over 10,000 square metres. The CDA will have a large stand which it calls the Knowledge Hub. Here, participants and visitors alike will have the opportunity to educate themselves of CDA achievements in the areas of Inclusion and Empowerment of People of Determination. One will also learn about its future plans to build the community aspired for by the wise government, in addition to interacting with the activities and events hosted by the three-day exhibition, which is expected to receive more than 8,000 visitors from the UAE, the Arabian Gulf countries and the rest of the world.
CDA is keen on making the event’s Knowledge Hub an attractive and interactive hub for Expo participants and visitors by highlighting the programmes and advanced systems that are proposed by international experts, and that are bound to have a significant impact on the lives and empowerment of People of Determination. While also updating People of Determination’s families of the important role technology and Artificial Intelligence plays in improving the lives of their children and helping them build a better future for them.
CDA has invited representatives of related centres, organisations and bodies, in addition to People of Determination themselves and their families, to visit its stand not only to better acquaint themselves with the advanced technologies developed for the educational, health, social and rehabilitation fields, but also to learn how best to make use of them.
To be attended by about 150 local and international exhibitors and participants, the Expo contributes towards making the UAE the largest hub in the region in terms of the provision of technology, equipment and Smart solutions dedicated to People of Determination, while also attracting international manufacturers to open offices and representation centres in the UAE for the same purpose.
