Palace Downtown Leads Hospitality Industry With Three Top Awards

Palace Downtown, the elegant Arabesque hotel under Emaar Hospitality Group’s premium luxury portfolio, Address Hotels + Resorts, has won three top awards across its assets, heralding a week of success and underlining the hotel’s leading position in Dubai’s hospitality sector.

Located in Downtown Dubai, the property was awarded the Best Honeymoon Hotel and Best Prime Location Hotel at the Haute Grandeur Global Hotel Awards at a glamorous ceremony in Bangkok, Thailand. The awards were established as an independent and unbiased initiative to honour the very highest achievements from across the global hotel industry and the two awards signify the hotel’s unique locality and romantic setting, popular with leisure travellers and guests from around the world.

In another recognition, Palace Downtown’s Executive Chef Steve Deconinck was named Executive Chef of the Year 2017 at Hotelier Middle East’s 13th annual awards ceremony. Chef Steve has worked in a number of Michelin-starred restaurants in Europe before moving to the UAE, where he has used his experience to launch new and innovative culinary activities as well as new concepts, resulting in cover and revenue increases.
