Fresh off the heels of the A/W 2018 Lakme Fashion Week (LFW), Numaish’s 22nd Festive Fair is bringing more than 20 A-list designers to Godolphin Ballroom, Jumeirah Emirates Towers from 28-29 September to grab at the collections hot off the runway.
Sustainable textiles continue to be a top trend from LFW and in ode to that Numaish will be featuring over 20 of the biggest names in sustainable fashion from Yogesh Chaudhary’s Surendri bringing a mélange of prints and drapes, sari-reinventor Anavila Misra, luxury resort line creator, Priyadarshini Rao, and a first time to Dubai, the man with the penchant for silkworms, Samant Chauhan – all of them are available for interviews about their latest collection, endeavors in sustainable fashion and coming to Dubai
Manisha Kumar Chhabra, the lifestyle curator and brain child of Numaish comments, “This edition will have never-seen before names each bringing their own story of royalty, heritage and sustainability.”
Numaish is synonymous with the crème de la crème in Asian fashion. For the 22nd Festive Fair Numaish has a brand descending from Indian royalty –Rosetree, founded by Princess Chandni Singh and her mother Queen Kamini Singh of Seohara, Uttar Pradesh.
Rosetree is an initiative that is supported and built by the rural women of Seohara and the Princess is driven to not only design but promote local Indian talent at established metropolitan platforms. They have already sold out extensively across New Delhi and Mumbai and have set their sights to win hearts over in Dubai.
On the accessories front, Numaish continues its tradition of amassing statement pieces from across the region. A stand out name must be people-proclaimed celebrity royalty Karan Johar’s latest foray in jewellery, Tyaani. Launching in Dubai this year, Tyaani is promising an inclusive collection of fashion-fast polki that reinterprets traditional certified gold and uncut diamond Indian jewellery in the most unexpected way possible as well as a first-peek into their A/W collection and new minimal capsule collection.
Another first for Numaish will be the new service of concierge personal shoppers available at the venue on both days to support shoppers with bespoke looks for any upcoming event ahead from brunches to wedding receptions.
In addition to that, Numaish will also be launching its new gift vouchers which can be used for up to a year and can be pre-ordered via social media, phone or whatsapp in the run up to the event. A great gift for festivals and celebrations.
