Novo Cinemas Braces Itself For A Bumper Weekend With The Release Of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

The final instalment of the Marvel trilogy, which is the first film ever to be filmed entirely in IMAX, will be released in movie theatres on the 26thApril and has already sold thousands of advanced tickets to film-fans across the region.
THE AVENGERS (2012) and THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON (2015) rank amongst Marvel’s top three features of all time, having grossed over $623m and $459m respectively worldwide, indicating the anticipated popularity of the third chapter.
AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, directed by The Russo Brothers, is the first film ever to be shot entirely using IMAX cameras and only in IMAX theatres will the film expand vertically to show up to 26 per cent more of the image – providing its audience with even greater scope and breath-taking quality for a truly unparalleled experience.
Novo Cinemas has five IMAX screens including one of the largest IMAX with laser at the soon-to-be-opened IMG World of Adventure location. The screen is on average 4,500 times bigger than an average TV screen and the 15,000-watt lamp is so bright that if it were on the moon we could see it from earth with the naked eye.
