Mohamed Henedy Reveals The Details Of His World Tour “Henedy Live”
Marking a significant moment in the history of Arab comedy, Egyptian mega-star, Mohamed Henedy will announce his first stand-up world tour “Henedy Live,” where he meets his audiences live and brings to stage new topics in a comic yet theatrical performance, making him the first Arab actor to undertake such a grand venture.
Impresario Live announced a press conference to reveal the details and dates of the shows during a Grand Gala on June 24, at Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa in the presence of Mohamed Henedy, besides other artists and sponsors representatives.
The popular entertainers joining Henedy on his premier world tour are the Lebanese rock guitarist and singer Chady Nashef, who has entertained Arab audiences during many shows and television programmes, as well as the emerging Egyptian diva, Nada Moussa.
Expressing his excitement about the world tour, Mohamed Henedy said: “This show is a new challenge and an opportunity to connect with my audience differently.”
He added: “I have always been interested in stand-up comedy, but I’ve been waiting for the right moment and partners to bring it to life. I look forward to draw a smile on the faces of my audience all over the world.”
Mohamed Henedy ranks among the most successful Egyptian comedians with a pan-Arab appeal. He carries a significant contribution to the entertainment industry, with a career experience longer than 20 years, during which he collaborated with the international Egyptian director Youssef Chahine for the movie “Eskendereya Kaman w Kaman,” in addition to other celebrated films such as “Sa’eedi fil Gama’a el Amrekeya,” “Wesh Egram,” “Amir El Behar,” “Andaleeb Al Dokki,” and others.
“Henedy Live” is a collaborative production between Levity Live, a US-based leader in TV productions and live comedy shows, and Impresario Live, a Dubai-based entertainment boutique specialized in tailoring live entertainment concepts. Bookurstar Global will promote the tour worldwide, while Outback Concerts will promote the concerts in North America, and Khayal Events will promote the show across the Middle East and North African (MENA) region.
