ME Dubai Unveils Cultural Connection Exhibition Featuring Designer Zaid Farouki In Partnership With Arab Fashion Council

In partnership with Arab Fashion Council for this year’s Dubai Fashion Week, ME Dubai spotlights the extraordinary work of renowned Dubai-based Palestinian-Jordanian designer Zaid Farouki, celebrated for his fusion of art, culture, and fashion.
Describing himself as an artist who uses fashion as a means of expression, Zaid Farouki launched his namesake label in 2015 and has since garnered international acclaim for his innovative approach to fashion. Renowned for his bespoke couture pieces that combine hand-painted artistry, intricate embroidery, and contemporary silhouettes, Zaid Farouki transcends the boundaries of fashion, creating a bridge between the past and the future, tradition and innovation, and culture and modernity. Farouki’s unique approach includes crafting fabrics entirely from paint and 3D-printing sculptures, such as crowns that reflect his middle name, “Taji,” meaning “my crown” in Arabic.
