Mawaheb Launches ‘7 Days Of Happiness’ Challenge To Keep Members Motivated Amid COVID-19
Mawaheb from Beautiful People (Mawaheb), an art studio for the determined ones, has launched the ‘7 days of happiness’ campaign to keep its membersmotivated amid the COVID-19 crisis. Aiming to give a chance to express and polish their creativity while they are home, thecampaign seeks to keep members optimistic and grateful during difficult times.
As per the campaign, every week, two or three memberswill be chosen to share what made them happy each day during the week and compile them in to a video presentation to be shared with other members during a Zoom call at the end of week. The campaign also encourages members to stay energetic, positive, and spend their days doing meaningful activities as they comply withpreventive measuresto stay at home.
Wemmy de Maaker, founder of Mawaheb, said: “This is the time to ensure our students remain positive, fit, and healthy as well as continue learning new skills. Mawaheb is committed to the development of its students, and the current situation was not a deterrent. The creative campaign seeks to help those involved be concurrently positive and productive.”
Gulshan Kavarana, art mentor, said: “In a bid to keep our members motivated and positive even during times that seem challenging and difficult, the campaignis designed by volunteer Kim Smithto polish creativity and underscore the importance of gratitude. It also gives our students an opportunity to be connected via video calls and encourage each other to stay positive and healthy.”
In previous weeks’ presentations, one of the members shared personal moments like playing with her cat, drinking a cup of tea, and her brother’s return from the hospital. She also recorded shots of her blissful time while drawing and baking a cake. Similarly, another member, Srishti, recorded herself helping her mother, baking banana bread, trying her hand at gardening, and feeding birds on her balcony.
