Jones The Grocer Opens First Locations In Egypt And Saudi Arabia
JTG Holdings Ltd, headquartered in Dubai, owner of the ‘Jones the Grocer’ brand, announces the opening of new store locations in Cairo, Egypt and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in line with the business’s swift ongoing expansion in the region.
Established in 1996 in Australia,the popular food emporium, known for its casual dining style, cheese room and gourmet retail, is set to open threelocations – two in Cairo and one in Riyadh.
The openings are part of 23 new sites scheduled to open with franchise partners across the region as part of an overarching ambitious target of 200 new stores across the world in the next five years.
Raya Restaurants, a subsidiary of Raya Holdings,will oversee the Cairo sites withboth flagship stores featuring an open kitchen cooking Jones the Grocer’s award-winning menu, gourmet grocery retail, a halal charcuterie, a bakery and patisserie, a hallmark artisan cheese-room and an outdoor terrace, setting the benchmark for store design, casual dining and gourmet food retail in Egypt.
Naif Alrajhi Investment, known for its diversified portfolio and success in attracting the most promising businesses, empowering unique capabilities, and securing flourishing partnershipswill manage Riyadh’s first site in the prestigious 5-star Fairmont Ramla Hotel.

Jones the Grocer locations in Cairo will open their doors in May 2021, with Riyadh is set to open in H2 2021.
