Gulf Photo Week 2018

Dubai’s center for photography, Gulf Photo Plus (GPP), has announced the dates for its annual photography festival, GPP Photo Week 2018. The 2018 edition will be the 14th year of the festival – the first and longest-running of its kind in the region and will run from February 7 – 12, 2018 and will take place at Alserkal Avenue.

The 2018 theme for the event is Shift Your Focus, encouraging attendees to think about photography and the rapidly changing world around us in a new light, with a new lens. Shifting focus is an important technical aspect of photography, and also a vital part of the creative process. This speaks to the needs of both the commercial and artistic worlds of photography, as well as how it can influence our everyday lives.
