GMC Middle East Partners With The Emirates Red Crescent For Their Ramadan Donation Drive Across The UAE

Celebrating the spirit of giving during the Holy Month, GMC Middle East has partnered with the Emirates Red Crescent for the second year in a row to run the GMC Donation Drive in the UAE. The initiative comes as part of GMC’s efforts to inspire and enable generosity across the Emirates, directly contributing to the welfare of those in need.

Alongside the Emirates Red Crescent, the GMC Donation Drive will go on a journey across the seven Emirates of the UAE to collect donations destined for refugee camps in the ‘Mrajeeb Al Fhood Camp’ in Jordan while some of the proceeds will also be distributed to those in need in the UAE. As part of the drive, UAE residents will have the opportunity to make a difference by donating new clothes, appliances and other necessities to those in need.

“Ramadan is not only a time for self-reflection, spirituality and abstinence, it is also a time to do our best to give to those who need our support, which is what lead us to launch the GMC Donation Drive last year. This year, we are extremely pleased to have partnered up with Emirates Red Crescent once again for this initiative. We have had a long and proud history in the region and this is our way of giving back to communities in the Middle East,” said Daniella D’Souza, Head of Brand at GMC Middle East.
