Global Women In Leadership Economic Forum 2018, To Take Place In Dubai In November
Building on its success in the past 9 years, the Global Women In Leadership (WIL) Economic Forum announced that its 2018 edition will be taking place on November 14th – 15th in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The forum which will be held under the patronage of H.E. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, UAE Minister of Economy, and organized by Naseba, will convene a diverse group of leaders in the worlds of business, politics, arts and media to share strategies and insights in an aim to shape tomorrow’s economy. The meeting’s theme ‘Stretch: Aspiring for more’, highlights the key role that today’s women aim to play, for the economy to realize its full potential.
This year’s agenda boasts yet another impressive lineup of speakers across a wide range of industries and career accomplishments, such as Hind Alowais, Vice President, International Participants, EXPO2020, Osman Sultan, CEO, DU, Sylvia Metayer, CEO, Corporate Services Worldwide Sodexo, Sheikh Hussein Al-Banawi, Chairman and CEO, Banawi Industrial Group (B.I.G), and Mariah Idrissi, the first hijab wearing model in an international fashion campaign, to name a few. All of who will address topics such as diversity and inclusion, innovation, arts & culture, CSR, and creating a social impact through investment and entrepreneurship.
Additionally, the Forum agenda includes a range of sessions, inspiring keynotes, and interactive panel discussions centered around women in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), female tech entrepreneurs, creating sustainable workplaces, hiring and retaining diverse talent.

In its tenth edition, Global WIL Economic Forum will provide attendees with a wealth of knowledge, inspiration, and motivation, while allowing them to connect with like-minded individuals from public and private sectors across the region. Female leaders and young female entrepreneurs, who represent the next generation of pioneers and global leaders, are especially encouraged to register.
Earlier this year, Naseba successfully organized, the Women Economic Forum in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. A first of its kind event that brought together over 1,300 participants, among them were business leaders, policy-makers, entrepreneurs, NGOs, artists and students, to discuss the transformative role that companies, foundations and individuals can play to support the achievement of KSA’s Vision 2030 economic goals. The meeting also called for a collaborative initiative to catalyze positive change, facilitate discussions and foster cross-sector partnerships.
