Ellington Managing Director Gives Inspiring Talk To Young Design Students At American University Of Sharjah

Robert Booth, Managing Director of Ellington Properties, the Dubai-born, design-led boutique developer with a growing portfolio of bespoke, aesthetic and high-quality homes, delivered a presentation on the evolution of Downtown Dubai to a packed lecture theatre of students at the American University of Sharjah.

The presentation, which covered the period Mr Booth was Chief Executive Officer of Emaar Dubai Real Estate, focused on areas including the philosophy behind the creation of Downtown Dubai mega-development, to what it has morphed into today – a bustling residential and commercial hub that is home to the iconic Burj Khalifa and the largest retail and leisure destination in the world, The Dubai Mall.

Mr Booth highlighted many of the early ideas that were part of the thinking behind Downtown Dubai, and the various steps the developer had to take for the project to move forward and form an integral and vital part of the city.
