Dubai Land Department (DLD) recorded a distinguished presence as a strategic global partner at the American 2018 REALTORS Conference & Expo (NAR) in Boston, USA. NAR is one of the world’s largest real estate events that brings together 400 exhibitors and over 20,000 professionals and experts over four days at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
HE Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of DLD, said: “Our participation in this important international event and the establishment of a distinguished presence in international real estate events showcases our successful real estate experience internationally, allowing global delegates to witness Dubai’s unique real estate experience.”
Bin Mejren added: “Being strategic global partners with NAR is an ideal opportunity to showcase our expertise and share it with international delegations. DLD is part of the global partners list for NAR that includes 100 educational sessions with more than 150 speakers who will speak on various aspects of the real estate market. DLD officials joined the list of keynote speakers to speak about Dubai’s real estate market.”
By joining the list of strategic global partners for this event, DLD’s delegation had the opportunity to shed light on the tremendous developments achieved by the real estate sector in Dubai to the thousands of participants in attendance. DLD is represented by a high-level delegation comprised of HE Majida Ali Rashid, CEO of Real Estate Promotion and Investment Management Sector at DLD, and Hend Al Marri, CEO of Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI).
During her speech, HE Majida Ali Rashid highlighted the importance of the strategic partnership with NAR and showcased how the Real Estate Promotion and Investment Management Sector adopted contemporary and unique global methods to increase the attractiveness of Dubai’s real estate market.
Hend Al Marri presented Dubai’s real estate legislation, which protects investors and enhances confidence in Dubai’s real estate market, and emphasised how DREI contributes to the real estate market by providing sufficient real estate skills.
DREI provided training opportunities and courses for those working in the real estate market, and presented the mechanisms set in place to grant accreditation to real estate brokers in Dubai.
NAR dedicated ‘Dubai Hour’ to promote Dubai’s real estate and highlighted the Emirate’s characteristics as one of the most prominent international investment destinations. A group of real estate developers in Dubai also presented their most important real estate projects — completed or under construction.
Through its stand at the EXPO that was held in conjunction with NAR, DLD promoted investment opportunities in Dubai’s real estate market, the Emirate’s attractive environment for investment, and its unique advantages for those looking for accommodation and investment opportunities in a city that is proud of its stability, security, and modern infrastructure development.
