Dubai Industrial Park Hosts Executive MBA Students From Westminster College
Dubai Industrial Park (DI), the industrial district within Dubai Wholesale City (DWSC), hosted a delegation of 25 Executive MBA students on a field trip from the Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business at Westminster College in Salt Lake City in the United States.
Organized in coordination with Abu Dhabi and Dubai government entities, the visit is part of Westminster College’s master’s program requirements. The students toured the premises – including warehouses, factories, labor villages, and offices –and experienced first-hand the array of valuable key features offered within DI’s enabling ecosystem, working together as a community to benefit the business partners including local, regional and international traders and manufacturers.
Speaking on the occasion, Abdulla Belhoul, Chief Executive Officer of DWSC, said: “We are delighted to welcome the students of Westminster College to DI, and introduce them to the advanced infrastructure, enabling business environment and comprehensive services at Dubai Industrial Park that make our hub a leading contributor to the emirate’s industrial sector and non-oil GDP.”
He added: “The visit brings a host of mutual benefits. For us, it provides an ideal opportunity to provide students with first-hand experience of business success stories in DI, while for the students, it represents an enriching addition to the theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom.”
