DEWA approved 21 ideas so far through the programme, 13 of which have been implemented. These include ‘smart closets,’ ‘Mirzab Pipes,’ and the ‘inspector robot.’ The programme is an addition to DEWA’s Afkari (My Idea) portal, an internal online platform to encourage creativity and innovation in the work environment. In 2020, DEWA approved some 1,500 ideas presented by its customers and employees through suggestions and ideas they
presented on the Afkari platform, the Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Majlis, and the Unified Suggestions Portal of Dubai Government.
