DAFZA also places additional focus on supporting the halal food sector on local, regional and global levels. The free zone launched the world’s first comprehensive guide entitled Dubai Global Gateway to Halal Industries: Your Guide is a Step by Step Guide available in Arabic, English, Spanish and Portuguese. Through the guide, DAFZA aims to support global investors and companies operating within the halal sector, and to introduce them to the opportunities provided by the sector at the regional and global levels. It also serves to familiarize stakeholders with the halal ecosystem in the UAE in terms of certification and accreditation, the UAE Halal logo and business set-up solutions.
The Halal Trade and Marketing Center, the first-of-its-kind in the region, provides an integrated ecosystem of advisory services for all stakeholders, investors and companies.
