Astra Tech Holds Listening Session At Labor Camp During Ramadan To Connect With Users
Astra Tech, MENA’s leading consumer technology holding group, demonstrated their commitment to user satisfaction by visiting a labor camp in Dubai on April 9th during the holy month of Ramadan. The visit, which included Co-Founder and CEO Abdallah Abu Sheikh, aimed to open communication channels and gain users’ interactive feedback on improving the services offered by BOTIM, including guidance on connecting with their families and using international money transfers. As part of the visit, the Astra Tech team also broke their fast with the users at the camp.
Abdallah Abu Sheikh, Co-Founder and CEO of Astra Tech, BOTIM’s parent company, stated: “Ramadan is a blessed month during which we aim to better ourselves and give back to our communities. At Astra Tech, we are committed to providing the best possible service to our users by listening to their feedback. This visit was an opportunity to listen to feedback and gain insights that will help us improve our services. We also introduced new features on our app that enable users to send money back home to their families without any transfer fees. As we move towards becoming an Ultra app, we are dedicated to ensuring that our features are accessible and user-friendly for everyone.”
To bridge the distance between the users and loved ones abroad, Astra staff were on the ground to guide them through the process of connecting with their families and accessing international money transfer services using BOTIM.
BOTIM’s vision of becoming an Ultra app encompasses accessibility of everyday services for its users, and as workers often send money back home, Astra Tech has taken it upon themselves to raise awareness around the services that are available to them.
