The newly Amplified Allure of the Seas® is soaring to new heights for experiences at sea with exciting thrills on every deck, reimagined spaces and adventures aboard like never before. Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas is the most-awarded ship in the world and is expected to debut in Barcelona for the Summer 2020 season.
The iconic Oasis Class ship is undergoing a $165 million transformation preparing it to offer the ultimate summer vacation in Europe when it opens its season with the seven-night Western Mediterranean cruises on May 10, 2020. With its myriad offerings, travellers will only feel that they are sailing abroad a theme park. The Amplified Allure of the Seas® will double the fun with an aqua park, the Splashaway Bay℠, which will be loaded with colourful waterslides, water cannons, fountains and whirlpools. Also; deck 16 will be home to the Ultimate Abyss, the tallest slide at sea that stretches over 10 stories. The family-friendly ship will also feature The Perfect Storm, which is a trio of water slides with see through panels so adventurers can catch a glimpse of the views as they go down. The FlowRider® is another corner for some adrenaline filled experience with over 12 meters long surf stimulator and 30,000 gallons of rushing awesome in the way.
However, being onboard the ship doesn’t mean all activities should be water based as on deck ten for example a high Zip Line is suspended offering thrill seekers an exciting addition to their trip. The Sports Court is a hub for a whole range of activities be it basketball, volleyball and other court-based games. The 12+ meters high Rock Climbing Wall is ready to challenge beginners and speed climbers alike, while the mini Golf course offers hours of fun for kids and grownups of all ages. The ice rink prepares the ground for some serios excitement and to elevate everybody’s vacation mood to the max.
For relaxation time the ship spa Vitality program offers so many ways to unwind, recharge and reconnect with renewing facials, massages and body wraps in the spa area. Another space designed to calm down the mind is the Solarium which is located at the front of the ship. This indoor-outdoor retreat is an adult only area and presents fantastic views, swimming pools, whirlpools and lounge area. Night life abroad Allure of the Seas® is also an experience to look out for. From the Music Hall where no night sounds the same as the last, to the Spotlight℠ Karaoke the all new venue where guests can sing their favourite hits with thousands of popular songs to choose from, or to the themed nights and parties which are guaranteed to keep fun level lasting to the dawn. To unleash competition spirit among travelling friends, families or strangers the Glow-in-the-dark laser tag in Clash for the Crystal City will be the field to proof who’s the winner.
