HP Inc. To Demonstrate Its Secured End-User Devices At GISEC 2018
HP Inc. will be participating at the Gulf Information Security Expo & Conference (GISEC) 2018 to demonstrate how it is reinventing security by designing its enterprise products for cyber-resilience. This includes its latest portfolio of Personal Systems (PS) and Multifunctional Printers that are equipped with security capabilities built directly into the hardware. GISEC is the region’s premier information security conference and exhibition and will be held on May 1-3, 2018 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
On May 1, 2018, HP Fellow & Chief Technologist for Security Research and Innovation at HP Security Lab, Boris Balacheff, will deliver a keynote speech on managing risks and how HP’s investment in security innovation enables businesses in the Middle East to secure their end user devices. In addition, HP will be hosting demonstrations and informative sessions on end user device vulnerabilities for visitors at the stand.
As cybercrime is becoming more sophisticated and frequent, legacy security solutions are challenged when it comes to protecting end user devices. To protect its customers, HP’s range of business PCs and Printers feature cyber-resilient technologies that detect, protect and self-heal from attacks.
Corbett Hoxland, Business Manager, Enterprise Solutions, HP Middle East said: “For the last 17 years, HP has focused on reinventing security by building security directly into our devices, not bolting it on. We believe, through our participation at GISEC this year, we can help educate enterprises in the Middle East to stay a step ahead of an increasingly challenging threat landscape and making end-user devices more resilient to cyber warfare. As an industry leader, HP engineers the world’s most secure end-user devices to help organisations mitigate risks.”.
