UAE Edges Germany, South Korea And The Neth-Erlands In ‘Low Workplace Stress’ Rankings
Work-related stress across the UAE remains low with the country identified as one of the lowest growth countries for online searches relating to stress in the workplace, according to a global study of online searches by SEMrush, the award winning all-in-one digital marketing suite.
Conducted between 2016 and 2019 across the UAE, Germany, South Korea and Netherlands, the SEMrush study collated searches for terms and phrases including ‘how to manage stress at work’ and ‘how to reduce stress at work’.
The UAE accrued growth of just 19 per cent in the three-year period, ranking the country ahead of Germany, which saw growth of 27.5 per cent. The Netherlands was third with 54.17 per cent growth, while South Korea achieved the highest growth at 65.96 per cent.
“The intelligence from search data indicates a low level of stress related searches among UAE public which in turn is positive compared to other countries” said Olga Andrienko, Global Marketing Head at SEMrush.
The SEMrush study also found that internet searches for ‘anti-stress toys’ in the UAE register no more than nine searches a month on average, indicating a very low level of search demand for stress therapy toys. In comparison and reflecting wider work-derived stress, South Korea has witnessed 3,050 per cent growth in online searches for ‘anti-stress toys’.
