With the regional arrival of 2019 Acadia, the design advances GMC’s legacy of precision craftsmanship and answers our Middle East customers’ calls for greater vehicle personalization.
The 2019 Acadia builds on a legacy of intuitive functionality, with innovative features such as the Rear Seat Reminder feature to remind the driver when an item may have been left in the rear seats and a tire fill alert, a system that provides audible alerts when inflating a tire (standard on all modes). Other features include standard Keyless Open and Start and Smart Slide feature that offers a split-folding second-row seat.
Additional solutions range from the simple to the technologically advanced. The rear of the center console, for example, features a unique pull-out storage drawer, which is accessible to rear-seat passengers. There’s also an available Safety Alert Seat that provides the driver the option of getting haptic seat-bottom vibration pulses instead of audible crash avoidance alerts. Additionally, all three rows offer USB charge ports for compatible electronic devices.
Available on the 2019 Acadia, the active safety features are designed to help make drivers more aware of their surroundings and potential crash situations, such as Front Pedestrian Braking, Surround Vision camera system, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Change Alert in addition to Front and Rear Parking Assist.
The 2019 Acadia offers a great emphasis on refinement, while remaining instantly recognizable with an evolution of the vehicle’s signature design cues such as a chrome-trimmed grille, squared off and flared wheel arches and a wraparound rear side windows with dark D-pillars.
Dimensional grilles and wraparound headlamps – High-intensity discharge (HID) lamps on Denali and halogen projectors on other models – reinforce the confident, refined appearance, while standard LED signature lighting on all models reflect GMC’s premium attributes. Complementing C-shape rear lighting graphics add a cohesive detail to the design.
Premium cues distinguish the Acadia Denali. Like all Denali models, it features a dimensional chrome grille, along with integrated chrome side trim, chrome-accented door handles, a chrome lower-rear fascia and specific six-spoke 20-inch wheels.
As a contemporary crossover, the 2019 Acadia offers the latest active safety features to protect the passengers, as well as the latest technologies to keep them connected.
Moreover, when it comes to connectivity, the Acadia is plugged in with available phone integration technology through GMC’s IntelliLink system, making it easy to connect to some of the features that smartphone users rely on most. Offering a standard 7-inch-diagonal color touchscreen and an available 8-inch system with navigation, the GMC Infotainment system on the 20109 Acadia features GMC’s Apple CarPlay and Android Auto phone projection capabilities.
All 2019 Acadia models feature a drive mode selector, which allows the driver to alter chassis and powertrain attributes to suit a variety of driving conditions. Meanwhile, the All-Terrain model has a specific Off-road mode on the drive mode selector, which works with the model’s exclusive AWD system to offer enhanced off-road capability.
