Nobel Exhibition 2018: Workshops Shed Light On Breakthroughs And Milestones In Chemistry
Major breakthroughs made by prominent chemists and Nobel laureates take centre-stage in a series of workshops at the fourth Nobel Exhibition taking place in Dubai’s City Walk from February 4 until March 3, 2018.
Organised by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) – member of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives – the 2018 edition of the exhibition bears the theme “Nobel Prize in Chemistry – Connecting Elements”. The workshops drew large crowds of students from schools and universities across Dubai, in addition to chemistry experts and academics, to take part in the discussions, which highlighted the contributions of chemistry to human life, and the role it plays in addressing key challenges and in the development and advancement of the medical field.
MBRF’s CEO His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb said: “The Nobel Exhibition 2018 allows us to showcase the inspiring experiences of prominent Arab and international scientists, stimulate creativity and innovation among students and visitors, and demonstrate the great role chemistry plays in people’s lives. This, indeed, is the main objective from all our activities at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, where we strive to produce and promote knowledge across various disciplines in an effort to empower all segments of society.”
