Italy Seeks Technological Deployment In Middle East’s Oil And Gas

The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in the UAE will bring together 30 specialised manufacturers from Italy to showcase innovative technological solutions at the upcoming Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC). A key business platform in the oil and gas sector unlocking opportunities, the three-day event will take place from 13 until 16 November 2017 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

The Gulf region is not new to the Italians as they have been present in the oil and gas sector for over 50 years now. In fact, its USD 600 million turnover comes from specialized Italian machineries. The volatile upstream market has led Italian companies to look at other venues – moving towards more value-added mid and downstream segments.
